We tint the Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X and the Cybertruck. Each has a lot of glass, and the glass roof lets in heat from above as well as from the side.
Ceramic IR is the usual choice on a Tesla: it blocks the most infrared heat and has no metal in it, so the phone key, GPS and LTE work as normal.

Can you tint a Tesla glass roof?
Yes. The film goes on the inside of the roof glass and blocks the infrared heat that comes straight down into the cabin.
Will tint affect the phone key or GPS?
Not with carbon or ceramic film. Neither has metal in it, so the phone key, GPS and LTE work as normal.
Which models do you tint?
The Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X and the Cybertruck.
How dark can I go on a Tesla in Florida?
The front side windows can go down to 28% on every model. On the rear, a car like the Model 3 or Model S can go down to 15%; an SUV or truck, like the Model Y, Model X or Cybertruck, down to 6%. We check how your Tesla is registered before we start.
Can you tint a Tesla windshield?
Florida allows tint only on a strip above the AS-1 line at the top of the windshield. We can fit that strip; the rest of the windshield stays clear.
