Car window tinting
Why tint your car windows?

Less glare
Low sun and bright reflections off the road are easier on your eyes.
More privacy
Darker rear glass keeps bags, kids and passengers out of sight.
Blocks UV
99.99% of UV stopped at the glass, for your skin and your seats. How it works
What car window tinting includes
We tint your side windows and the back glass with Union film cut to fit your car. A strip across the top of the windshield is there if you want one.
Old tint that has turned purple, bubbled or peeled can come off first, so the new film goes onto clean glass.
- Side windows and the back glass
- A windshield strip above the AS-1 line
- Old tint taken off when it needs to be
- Your shade checked against Florida law first

Questions
Car window tinting questions
Can’t see your question? Call us or ask in your quote request.
How dark can I tint my car in Florida?
On cars and sedans, the front side windows must let in at least 28% of light and the rear side windows and back glass at least 15%. On SUVs, trucks and vans, the rear side windows and back glass can go down to 6%. The windshield can only have a strip above the AS-1 line.
What is the difference between Carbon IR and Ceramic IR?
Both block 99.99% of UV and hold their color. Carbon IR blocks up to 75% of the sun’s infrared heat; Ceramic IR adds a ceramic layer and blocks up to 87%, the most heat control Union film offers.
How long does it take?
Most cars take a few hours. We’ll tell you how long when you book, so you can plan your day.
Can you take off my old tint?
Yes. Old, faded or bubbling film can come off before the new film goes on. Tell us about it when you ask for a quote.
When can I roll my windows down?
Give the film a few days to settle before you open the windows. We’ll tell you exactly how long when you collect your car.
Will tint stop my phone or GPS working?
No. Carbon and ceramic films have no metal in them, so your phone, GPS and radio work as normal.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, we offer financing plans. Ask about them when you get your quote.
